God Plans beyond our Dreams
We put out some feelers to missionaries and pastors for a summer mission trip to assist and bless church planters.
Plans were set for about 3,000 miles of travel in one month over several states. We ministered in regular worship services, special block parties, community events, town parades, and then God added to that. In Wisconsin we were invited to share in a Celebrate Recovery Meeting which was to be held on a Monday night on the route we would be taking from U.P. Michigan headed back to Virginia. Then, that church recommended us to another which invited us to minister on a Tuesday morning at an inner-city feeding ministry. Wow–what a wonderful two experiences in ministry added to our work along the way. God plans beyond our dreams and directs our paths as we whole-heartedly devote ourselves to His service.
